Mud on road caused motorbike accident

I was riding along, minding my own business on my KTM 640, down roads that I know pretty well, and when I came round a bend, looking through the bend for my exit, I hit a slick of cow shit. I wasn’t braking, but I was cranked over, and both wheels just completely lost it.

It was back in the great white whale on Sunday to attend the Bikers in Paradise show, this time with Clare Franklin who joined the team about 6 months ago. It was Clare’s first show and it was a nice one for her to start with.

I decided to treat my head to a nice new helmet last week. There is no other feeling than slipping a new lid on for the first time. I have always been a big Arai fan and was delighted to see that Arai had re-launched their Quantum range of helmets.

We were at a very busy Ace Café Southend Shakedown on Bank Holiday Monday. We had plenty of visitors to our stand to see one of the new prize bikes, the CCM R35 Flat Tracker as well as to collect prize draw cards.
