It feels great to be back at Brands, the place I consider my home circuit. After last year’s bad luck I really want to do well this weekend.
Usual apologies for the lateness of this blog and the absence of a proper preview. It was another week of ridiculous hours at work and everything else had to wait.
Today we had practice sessions in the morning and first qualifying in the afternoon. It went very well and I’ll start each race from pole position.
Time for bed now.
The 2008 season was my novice year, and I entered Thundersport’s top class, GP1, on a GSX-R1000 K4. Racing on a shoestring, with no back-up at all and riding the oldest bike on the grid, I scored strong results against fierce competition. These performances earned recognition and praise from commentators, organisers, and rivals alike, culminating in the club’s Rookie Of The Year award.
