Anglesey race 1

The race was soaking wet, very hard work and - with the bike twitching all over the place on the kinked back straight - not a little bit scary. I eased my way into it, lost a few places and then got a couple back once I had more feel for the bike. There are some top lads (and Jenny Tinmouth) here from Ireland and BSB so the pace at the front was unbelievable. I'm not ashamed to say I got lapped. In the end I was 6th in class and 16th overall, which is ok given the higher emphasis placed on self-preservation.
