For the 2009 season I will race in the aggressive and entertaining Streetfighter class with the ThundersportGB club, and the aim is nothing less than race wins and the championship title. At a taster race on a borrowed standard bike at the final round of ‘08, I scored pole position and both race wins.

The 2008 season was my novice year, and I entered Thundersport’s top class, GP1, on a GSX-R1000 K4. Racing on a shoestring, with no back-up at all and riding the oldest bike on the grid, I scored strong results against fierce competition. These performances earned recognition and praise from commentators, organisers, and rivals alike, culminating in the club’s Rookie Of The Year award.

Moving to the Streetfighter class makes it more affordable to be competitive, and delivers better value to sponsors.
