ThundersportGB on TV!
30 Mar 2009
Don’t forget, MotorsTV, tonight at 7pm! And if you do forget, it’s repeated at midnight and seven more times this week. 🙂
Taking The Ureic?
28 Mar 2009
As a mature rider, I keep in touch with club sites and what bikers have to say. I noted a problem of unprovoked front wheel slides at modest speeds on gentle bends kept coming up on the Fazer owners’ club forum.
More Motorcycle Training Matters
24 Mar 2009
Howdy folks. Just thought I would share my viewpoint on Saturday with you all. Cheffy drove the ‘mighty white whale’ over which left me free to play on the ‘Blade in the sun, lovely.
Parents guide to kitting out a teenager on a scooter or learner bike
If you are a parent who is reading this because your son or daughter is getting a scooter or their first small motorbike and you are terrified, read on. You know your own kid, but rather than make a confrontation of it, maybe controlling the risks is a better plan.
Number Plate
23 Mar 2009
I have a one line number plate on my bike but the letters are of the required height and dimensions. I have still been stopped and told that I will be prosecuted for it. Is this right?
Motorcycle Training Matters
21 Mar 2009
Ok I got the short straw I get to drive the HUGE White Dalton bus across to a show in Dunstable instead of riding my bike BOO!!! The upside is the show promises to be good and it is local to home.

Tie a knot in a hankie, set all your alarms, and put a Post-It on the dog because the first round of ThundersportGB will be shown on MotorsTV (Sky413) on Monday March 30th at 7pm. Every class delivered really exciting racing, so don’t miss it.
Exciting race and a win!
15 Mar 2009
Sunday’s first race was adrenalin fuelled even before it began. It took a couple of goes to bump start the bike, and then I got stuck between a load of caravans in the jammed paddock on the way to the grid! You really couldn’t make it up.
Three in a row
Another hard battle with a Supertwin Ducati made the weekend’s last race a thriller. I came through to take second overall and win the Streetfighter class again. This now gives me the points lead in the championship too.
Mallory Park
After a week of riding the usual route to work the weekend is here. The sun is shining and I do not have too much of a hangover. I am up and on my bike to meet my old mate Simon Quantrell at Weedon on the A5.
A win with a little help from my friends
14 Mar 2009
Today was a mixed first day’s racing, with a happy ending. I crashed in the first race, then returned to win the second one.
First qualifying report
13 Mar 2009
We’re off! It’s cold but dry at Mallory, so I got stuck straight in from the first session. After four months off the track I built up the pace and soon felt comfortable, and the Aprilia Tuono Factory is singing.
Front row start
Second qualifying was damp so the grid for Saturday’s races is set from the first session. That means I’m on the front row as fastest Streetfighter and second overall behind the top Sound of Thunder bike. I’ll be aiming to win the races overall though, definitely! Can’t wait.

Season preview
09 Mar 2009
Hello and welcome to my racing blog with White Dalton Motorcycle Solicitors. The season begins this week, on Friday 13th no less, at Mallory Park with a three day meeting. So, now seems like a good time to give you some background to this racing venture – it seems odd to call it a ‘team’ […]
Corrosion!
08 Mar 2009
Well this is the first time I have been a “blogger.” As way of background I have been riding bikes since I was about 12 when I managed to squeeze an H100 engine into a Honda MT5 bought with my paper round money!!!
Ally Pally
04 Mar 2009
Well, we survived the Ally Pally Motorcycle Show, and its back to the grind stone now.
Cold weather riding kit
If there isn’t snow on the road, I ride, so my cold weather gear has got to be good. A 600 mile day is not unusual for me – on my old man’s Beemer GS – and over the years,
