CCM Sledgehammer Winner!
23 Apr 2010
Dave Stanford from Kent collected the CCM Sledgehammer from our offices today. He says this is the first bike he has owned from new, all his other bikes have been second hand and needed some form of restoration to get them running again.
Collecting my Suzuki Bandit 600…
08 Apr 2010
As some of you may know I have recently returned to motorcycling and having managed to scrape through university have finally got myself a motorbike – a very nice black Suzuki Bandit 600.
Ace Café Southend Shakedown
06 Apr 2010
We were at a very busy Ace Café Southend Shakedown on Bank Holiday Monday. We had plenty of visitors to our stand to see one of the new prize bikes, the CCM R35 Flat Tracker as well as to collect prize draw cards.
Whitstable Easter Egg Run – Photos & Video
31 Mar 2010
So an early Sunday morning start and the sun was shining. All was well as I “blatted” down the M1 motorway on my battered, but ever trusty GSX1400. Why is it some bikes just run and run and run?
Prize Bike Winner #2
Lewis Godding, the other prize bike winner from 2 weeks ago, collected the CCM SR-40 Retro bike from our offices today.

30 Mar 2010
A few photos of our attendance at the OnYerBike Open Day in Aylesbury, 27th & 28th March 2010
Whitstable Easter Egg Run
29 Mar 2010
Chef and I loaded our bikes up – actually, I loaded up the R1200 GS boxes and Chef carried our contribution of Easter Eggs in his back pack, and off we set for the coast. We had been invited by the Toy Run Organisers to come back at Easter, give away freebies (this years was […]
Royal British Legion Custom Motorbike
23 Mar 2010
Following our last show at the Ally Pally I couldn’t resist writing a little something about a motorbike I saw on the Royal British Legion Stand owned by Paul “Stitch” Wickenden.
RBLR1000 Top Riding Tips
19 Mar 2010
It is approximately 3 months until the RBLR1000. I thought I would write a little something for those who have not undertaken a riding experience of this nature before.

Wheelie Bad
05 Mar 2010
I have just been written up by the police for dangerous driving. I executed a deliberate wheelie in a 40mph stretch of dual carriageway for about 60 – 70 metres. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the police patrol car in a garage forecourt behind a transit van. What should I expect?
Passenger Problems
01 Feb 2010
I was riding my bike in Central London, in an area where taxis stop in a rank in the middle of the road. Traffic was heavy, and I was slowly filtering. I’m a regular commuter and ride into London most days. A black cab passenger door swung open from the opposite side to the driver, […]
It Wasn’t Me!
29 Dec 2009
I have just received a summons for speeding on my Triumph Speed Triple in London. Apparently I was stopped by a constable in uniform, who gave me a producer, and reported me for speeding. The problem I have is that this never happened. I have a Speed Triple, I do live in a London suburb, […]
Whitstable Toy Run 2009
08 Dec 2009
Sunday morning brought torrential rain and oodles of surface water, so I was rather glad that Andrew had made the call to drive to Whitstable (despite the absence of the White Dalton bus (white whale!)) rather than my having to learn to water ski on my motorbike! The weather stayed fairly miserable for most of […]
International Motorcycle & Scooter Show – 27th Nov to 6th December
15 Oct 2009
We won’t be at the Birmingham NEC International Motorcycle & Scooter Show this year, which is a pity and unexpected consequence of two major manufacturers pulling out.
Ear-Plugs continued …
11 Sep 2009
Since yesterday, I have learned two new things about my ear-plugs. Firstly, when a house or car alarm a few streets away goes off in the middle of the night, and the sound feels like it is piercing your brain and you’ll never sleep again, these moulded ear plugs block out the sound completely. They […]
Farewell English Summer, Hello Winter Riding Kit
This week I have had to hang up my summer air-flo jacket for the last time, and switch back to the familiar old leather jacket ready for the winter. I can’t believe how sudden the drop in temperature seems to have occurred; the last few days have been quite bitter at morning commuter time … […]
