Your motorbike camera can just as easily get you in trouble as it can absolve you of any wrong doing. So is it worth using camera or helmet cam while riding?

I traded in my old bike for a second-hand BMW R1200RT. Since the start of the spring I have put about 5000 miles on it. All was well until I had to yank on the anchors last week as I thought I saw a deer.

I was riding my bike on what I thought was a pleasant, dry day, and as I approached a building site for a development of houses, my bike slid out from underneath me on what I now realise was a slick of slimy mud.
