Romantic getaway

I got spanked off my GSXR1000 by a van as I was filtering through traffic. I broke my femur and pelvis. As I was getting scooped up by the ambulance, the Old Bill said they would get the bike recovered.

I was riding down my local high street when suddenly this young lady dashed out in front of me off the pavement. It turns out she had her headphones in and was looking at her phone. I properly clumped her and thought I had seriously hurt her.

At the beginning of April, I decided to take my old FJR1200 to the supermarket as it has got a huge top box and panniers. I loaded up the old girl with the essentials to get through lockdown i.e. bread, milk, eggs, beer etc. So far, so good.

Usually my good lady and I head out for a day’s bike riding followed by a posh dinner and a glass or two for Valentines Day. Obviously this year no bike riding which is a shame because being on her bike is one of the places she’s happiest.

Triumph Tribute
