Debris in the road and additionally diesel spills pose a risk to motorcyclists. Sometimes it’s obvious who left the debris on the road, is there is a farm turning there may be a lot of mud on the road, or if a road has recently been re-surfaced by the local council. A lot of the time the person responsible for the debris or spill has usually long since gone from the area. So how can you claim for injuries related to debris or diesel spill when you can’t identify the person responsible? A claim can be made to the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) under their Untraced Driver’ Agreement.
