Courier Corner Cutting
04 Dec 2025
Originally, I started off as a motorbike courier delivering parcels, but as the years have gone on, the world has changed, and the power of the internet and email basically killed off the bulk of that work.

Rear End Rights
27 Nov 2025
I have commuted into Manchester every day for the last three years on my Kawasaki Versys 650. I have had loads of bikes over the years, some bigger, some smaller, but this bike has been phenomenal.

Paternal Pillion Palaver
14 Aug 2025
Who should be helping my son? I had him on the back of my Fireblade as a pillion. We were heading down a narrow country lane last autumn when we had a head-on with a tractor on a bend. I can’t remember what happened and neither can my son.

No Conspiracy
07 Aug 2025
I believe there is a conspiracy against me by all those involved. Around three years back, I broke my leg after some absolute imbecile in a van pulled out of a junction and straight into the side of me whilst I was riding my Ducati Multistrada.

First Ride Breakdown
31 Jul 2025
My teenage daughter started college this year and has been catching two buses and walking the last mile to get there.

Time of the Sign
24 Jul 2025
I am part of a local vintage Japanese motorbike group that meets at the same pub on a Thursday evening through the winter months for a chinwag, and we do a Sunday morning ride out in the summer. They always laugh at me because, whatever the weather, I always turn up on my trusty CB900.

Subrogated Claim
17 Jul 2025
As a perk of my job, I get health insurance. Two years ago I got knocked off my SV1000 and shattered my elbow, and liability was admitted straight away, and we are now at the stage where we are trying to settle my claim.

Iced Bump
10 Jul 2025
I live out in the sticks and have never owned a car so I ride motorcycles to get to work whether it’s sunny, raining or snowing.

Test Ride Insurance
03 Jul 2025
It’s been a pretty poo year for my family after we lost my Dad. Thereafter, my husband and I split up and are just finalising the divorce.

Rainbow Warrior
26 Jun 2025
Whilst summer is now a distant memory, me and the Mrs are not against a bit of winter riding, even in the rain (and sometimes the snow!) despite it being wet, me and my wife were making a trip to a nearby stately home to see the Christmas lights.

Course Advantages
26 Dec 2024
I was out with some mates for a blast around the hills near where I live on my Suzuki GSX-R1000.

Nervous witness
12 Dec 2024
I was involved in a really serious accident six months ago, riding my BMW GS1250 along the main road using a bus lane (which I was legally allowed to use).

Sibling Anxiety
28 Nov 2024
For reasons that I don’t want to go into, me and my brother were estranged for a number of years.

Pizza Express
14 Nov 2024
I am a delivery rider in Manchester. I buzz around all day picking up lazy people’s food from their favourite takeaways.

Court for chap who taxed wrong bike
09 May 2024
We are very fortunate and both I and my partner have a bike each in the garage (we bought matching MT-09s a few years ago).

Will I be compensated or not?
25 Apr 2024
At the beginning of April, I decided to take my old FJR1200 to the supermarket as it got a huge top box and panniers. I loaded up the old girl with the essentials to get through lockdown i.e. bread, milk, eggs, beer etc. So far, so good.

Hire bike hell…
11 Apr 2024
Twelve months ago, I was filtering between lanes two and three on the M25. A van just pulled out from lane three into two and took me out.

IAM Instructor Vs Lorry – who was at fault?
28 Mar 2024
I am an IAM instructor and have also done my ROSPA gold so I know how to ride and have great observational skills, even if I do say so myself.
