Goodwood Revival

Andrew Prendergast, Senior Partner, attended his first event at Goodwood Revival last weekend and watched some great racing including the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy which is a 25-minute, two-rider race for bikes of a type that raced up to 1954.

These vintage machines have been well cared for and gave a stunning performance. The last race of the day was also particularly impressive. It was the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy which is a 45-minute, two-driver race for closed-cockpit GT cars of a type raced before 1963.

Both he and Prendy, our marketing manager, had to agree that it was far more thrilling than watching modern cars race, with far more noise, blue smoke and exceptional overtakes from these older machines.

Walking around the venue they also found some beautiful bikes and bikers who’ve owned their treasures since their teens and Andrew was recognised by one of our followers who sought him out to convey how much they like reading our magazine columns and watching our YouTube series, The Truth About. Your kind words Mr Rod Smith were much appreciated.
