Donington race one

1st place! It was really wet so I didn’t want to lead or try too hard before my tyres warmed up. I got a good start but let Keith Smith and Mark Andrew through at the first corner. Smithy then crashed at the Old Hairpin and Mark opened a few seconds lead while I got a feel for the tyres. Once happy I started chipping away at the gap and took the lead with a well-timed move that also put some backmarkers between us.
It’s great to add a wet win to this season and that now takes my total to 20. I’ll see if I can add to that in the next hour but I won’t be taking any risks in these conditions.
