Emily recently joined the team at White Dalton as a Trainee Solicitor.
She studied Law at the University of Leeds and graduating in 2025, she is now on the SQE training route with plans to sit her final exams in 2027.
Having previously interned in a property law firm during her Summer breaks whilst at university, she assisted fee earners with cases for sales and remortgages of property. Feeling that she wanted to be more hands on helping people she then spent some time volunteering with the Witness Service across Aylesbury and Leeds Crown Courts.
It was there, where she gained experience offering support to witnesses testifying in court, that she really felt solicitors were making a difference to people’s lives and experiences. This inspired her to study Law at university where she gained a passion for both Civil and Criminal Law.
Motorcycling is very much in her DNA with one of her proudest possessions being an old black and white photo of her Grandfather on a 350cc Norton Model 50. As such she is headed down the CBT route and plans on getting her big bike licence asap.
A committed Manchester United football fan, Emily also takes her love of the game to its grass roots and is on the committee of her local team who play every Saturday. When she has any spare time left she loves going on countryside walks followed by a visit to a cosy pub with friends and family.
