Rd1 race 1

I finished the first race of the year fifth in class, satisfied to have lapped a bit faster and brought the bike home safely. I got a terrible start so that's something I'll need to work on over the weekend at the same time as honing the set-up. The pace at the front of the Superstock class doesn't look out of reach so I'm optimistic of better results later on at other tracks and perhaps this weekend. The GP1 class, with whom we share a grid, was won by reigning champion Phil Crowe with an incredible new lap record of 52.6s. That was front-running BSB pace five years ago when they last used this circuit layout.
