If you get a chance to listen to BBC Wiltshire tomorrow (Sat 6th) from around 2pm, you can hear an interview I did with sports journalist Ian Longdon last night. There’s also a cryptic clue game where listeners have to guess my sport from some, er, cryptic clues. There isn’t a giant cash prize though, in case you’re think that you have a headstart.
It’s also possible to listen online via the BBC radio website, and it will get replayed during the breakfast show in the week.
Hooray for BBC Wiltshire! And thanks to pal Will Guyat for setting it up. Am I the only club racer to have a PR machine?
The 2008 season was my novice year, and I entered Thundersport’s top class, GP1, on a GSX-R1000 K4. Racing on a shoestring, with no back-up at all and riding the oldest bike on the grid, I scored strong results against fierce competition. These performances earned recognition and praise from commentators, organisers, and rivals alike, culminating in the club’s Rookie Of The Year award.
