Not for Road UseQ: Can I make my exhaust pipes which are marked 'not for highway use' legal by putting baffles in them and then getting the bike re-MOT'd? A: No, sorry, even though what you are doing is perfectly sensible, because you would have a quiet bike, the offence is riding a motorcycle on the road with cans marked 'not for highway use'. That is an absolute offence. It doesn't matter even if they are whisper quiet. This offence, very unfairly, relates only to motorcyclists. Andrew DaltonDon't be someone else's learning curve.
